Becoming a MemberWe are always interested in hearing from people who want to join HRW, either as an active participant at events or as part of our support structure helping out with research. An enthusiastic interest in what we do is more important than having previous re-enacting experience or a highly detailed knowledge of the period. However, because of the way we work with each other and the amount of trust we have to have in our co-workers, this is not an open door where all that is needed is a membership fee. Prospective members are not thrown in at the deep end, but come to their first couple of events helping out with all the behind-the-scenes work and hopefully doing some Blue T-shirting. (We will work you up to Red T-shirting.) This gives you a chance to get to know us, and vice versa. It is after this probationary period that you become an associate member, and then full membership later. If you are interested in joining our group and want to know more, please click here. Mailing list of News and EventsIf you are interested in what we do and would like to keep up with our movements around the country, we have a newsletter which is free to anyone who requests it. The posted version is black and white, (to keep costs down), but a colour version can now be downloaded. Please click here. Booking the WorkshopIf our services maybe of use to you, either for a small or large event at a museum or house, or you are interested in our props, costume, knowledge and/or people for a TV or film project, then please click here. We currently limit our events to mainland Britain, due to the logistical problems of moving the amount of equipment we have, and keeping the members' travelling to within weekends where possible. We do some events during weekdays, but these are not the general rule. Further InformationIf there is anything else that we may be able to help you with please click here. Links and LocationsFor host websites and "Streetmap" locations, please visit the "Past Events" page. If any of the above links have stopped working, please Email us at enquiry@historyreenactment.org.uk. Thanks.
Contacting the WorkshopIf you have any problems contacting us with the above forms, you can Email us direct at enquiry@historyreenactment.org.uk or you can write to:
